Mounting accesories on your Ducati just got really easy. The solution is to replace the OEM steering stem nut with one that will accept a RAM ™ ball. The MotoReva steering stem nut is made from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and matches the fit and finish of the OEM nut. In the center is a 3/8" threaded hole for use with a 1" diameter (standard) RAM ™ mount ball.Shown above are several custom uses of the accessory mount system on my personal 2003 ST4s as well as on customer's 848 and 1098. Note that these are example installations only and these items are expressly not included as part of this auction.
The MotoReva nut can be installed with the standard Ducati tool and using the standard factory procedure.
Included in this kit are [1] a MotoReva steering nut, [2] a 1" RAM ™ mount ball with threaded stud, [3] a 1.75 inch connector arm and [4] a 1" RAM ™ mount ball with diamond adapter plate (as shown in the bottom row rightmost image).
Ducati owners can also use any one of the hundreds of RAM ™ mount bases available from GPScity.com or similar websites that sell RAM ™ mounts. The mount system will work with ANY Ducati that uses this style steering stem nut: 748, 749, 848, 916, 996, 998, 999, 1098, ST2, ST3 and ST4. Note: on Monster's and Multistrada's, the tube handle bar may get in the way.
